Sound Card

If you wish for your computer to have sound you will need a Sound Card. Sound Cards are used to produce any type of sound and it depends on what you are wishing your computer to do depends on how powerful your Sound Card has to be.

Some Sound Cards are built with 7.1 surround sound where others only support 2 speakers. Some Cards have the ability to produce music that can be later mixed and then released by a record lable and then some Sound Cards would only have the ability to play your music cd's on your computer.
